He was born on August 28, 1946, in Boston, MA, to David and Evelyn (Gilman) Arnold.
Steve spent his formative years growing up in New England alongside his older sister, Sybil, before moving to California with his family. He cherished his role as Zayde to his eight grandchildren, finding great joy in sharing his Jewish heritage and Christian faith with them. Together with Victoria, he hosted Passover Seders, Sabbath dinners, Bible studies, and young adult groups in their home for many years, serving as a spiritual mentor, providing counsel, and positively impacting the lives of many.
Steve had a wide range of passions that brought him happiness throughout his life. An avid Red Sox fan, he shared his enthusiasm for baseball with friends and family. His love for Disneyland led to countless visits with his children and grandchildren, creating cherished memories that endure to this day.
Steve found pleasure in books and movies that expanded his imagination, and he enjoyed sharing this passion with his family, creating bonds and cherished memories. His vibrant personality and quick wit endeared him to all who knew him, leaving a lasting impression of warmth and humor.
For many years Steve worked in retail sales management before finding his greater passion alongside Vicki in estate management. After retirement, he joined his daughter’s company, Pixie Faire and the non profit, Sew Powerful, founded by Jason and Cinnamon. He and Vicki enjoyed supporting them as both endeavors grew.
