MASON CITY – A U.S. Bank location in Mason City is closing permanently.
U.S. Bank made the announcement this month that the U.S. Bank location at 555 South Illinois Avenue would close permanently. They had announced earlier in the year that they were temporarily closing this location.
In the announcement, U.S. Bank said, “understanding that customers’ banking preferences and behaviors are changing, we continue to adapt how and where we operate. As a result, we have made the decision to close this location permanently.”
Customers’ accounts will not be affected. The bank is already closed.
The U.S. Bank location in downtown Mason City at 124 North Washington Avenue remains open at this time.
