PLEASANT HILL, IOWA – The Mason City High School girls cross country team competed in the 4A District State Qualifying Meet on Wednesday evening and placed 6th.
The meet was held in Pleasant Hill on Wednesday, October 21. The top three teams in the 5K race – Southeast Polk, Urbandale and Dowling Catholic – qualified for state. Mason City placed 6th as a team. No Mohawk runners were able to qualify individually, either.
