MASON CITY – Firefighters and other emergency responders were at a house fire Friday evening in Mason City.

The incident at 812 North Monroe Avenue was still unfolding at 8:00 PM, but a fire at that address was apparently doused by that time, and firefighters were cleaning up in the aftermath.

Earlier, flames could be seen coming out of the roof at the structure, owned by Mary and Raymond Blanchard.

More information as it becomes available.
