MONTOUR,IOWA – An Iowa man is dead after a violent crash during a police chase.
The accident took place Friday, January 11 just after midnight near 308 Northwood Drive in Montour, Iowa. Royce Grayson Timberwolf, age 22 of Montour, Iowa, was eluding Meskwaki Nation police, northbound on Northwood Drive on the Meskwaki settlement when his 2014 Kia Optima left the roadway, struck a driveway and rolled several times. Timberwolf was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
Iowa State Patrol was assisted by Tama Co Sheriff Toledo Police, Meskwaki First Responders, Toledo Fire and EMS, and Meskwaki Nation Police Department.
