MASON CITY – The John Adams cafeteria will be under construction upon students returning from winter break. The students will be served breakfast and lunch in the John Adams gymnasium. In order to work through this transition and to review behavior expectations, we will follow similar guidelines to how we started school. The 7th grade students will start back to school at the normal time of 8 A.M. on Thursday, January 6, while the 8th grade students will have the day off from school. The 8th grade students will start back to school at the normal time of 8 A.M. on Friday, January 7, while the 7th grade students will have the day off from school. All grade levels and students will be back to school together on Monday, January 10th.
In consideration of student safety around construction zones, we are reminding families to please have students arrive after 7:45 a.m. prior to the start of the school day. And to also pick up your student as soon as possible after school is dismissed each afternoon. Your cooperation in this matter will contribute significantly to a safe and orderly school environment.
