POCAHONTAS COUNTY – Pocahontas County authorities arrested three individuals following the execution of a search warrant at a Pocahontas residence late last month.
According to the Pocahontas County Sheriff’s Office, deputies executed a search warrant on April 28, 2026, at 206 Beneke Street in Pocahontas. During the search, law enforcement officers reportedly seized illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia from the residence.
As a result of the investigation, three people were arrested and charged.
Brooke Inthasane-Robinson, 32, was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance Marijuana 3rd Offense, an aggravated misdemeanor; Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Offense, a Class D felony; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
Tyra Khounsanthone, 22, was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance Marijuana 1st Offense, a serious misdemeanor, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
Mach Nyaw, 25, was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance Marijuana 2nd Offense, a serious misdemeanor, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
The Pocahontas County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol during the investigation.
Authorities noted that criminal charges are merely accusations, and all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
