CLEAR LAKE – A Mason City man was caught drunk driving early Saturday morning in Clear Lake.
A Cerro Gordo county deputy conducted a traffic stop at the 2000 block of Highway 18 East at about 12:26 AM Saturday morning, January 28, 2017, when the driver failed to obey a traffic control device. As a result of the stop and investigation, the driver, 24-year-old Brandon Lee Mueller of Mason City was arrested on charges of failing to obey a traffic control device, open container of alcohol, and operating while under the influence.
Mueller was taken to the county jail, where he was booked and later released, pending a court date.
