OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The NIACC women’s basketball team faces Illinois Central tonight in the second round of the NJCAA Division II national tournament.
Game time is set for 6 p.m. on the Johnson County CC campus.
It’s safe to say the two teams know each other pretty well. It will be the fourth time this season the two Midwest schools have met.
And it will be the 11th time since the 2011-12 season that the two schools have played each other.
Illinois Central has won two of the three meetings this season and the Cougars hold a 6-4 lead in the series since 2011-12.
