DAVENPORT – Shots rang out in downtown Davenport, Iowa, and cops and emergency responders raced to the scene, only to find a dead man.
On Saturday, August 24, 2024, at approximately 12:24 AM, Davenport Police, Fire, and Medic EMS responded to the parking lot in the 100 block of West River Drive, in reference to the report of shots fired with a victim.
Upon arrival, responding officers located an adult male with apparent gunshot wounds that had succumbed to his injuries.
Police are still seeking clues in connection to the incident.
