DES MOINES – The National Weather Service in Des Moines is warning that some parts of North Central Iowa are in danger of flash flooding beginning Sunday night through Monday.
Another round of thunderstorms is headed for the area, having an especially significant affect on the counties of Floyd and Mitchell and continuing east from there.
The rainfall over the last few days has made the possibility of flooding more likely. Flooded roads and basements and even mudslides could occur.
