NEW YORK – Hostess is back in business after filing bankruptcy last year after a fight with its workers and their union.
In a tantalizing statement to mass-produced junk food consumers, the company announced recently that “You may have heard something sweet is on the horizon.”
“This summer, Twinkies, CupCakes, Ding Dongs, Donettes and other classic treats are making a comeback” Hostess said. “And it’s all because of the love and support people have shown for these American snack icons. We thank you for your loyalty. You can look forward to hearing more from us very soon.”
Workers blamed the 2012 shut down of the company on mismanagement; it was reported that the union the workers belonged to is no longer associated with the company.
I don’t care about the Twinkies… But what about the WONDER BREAD?!
