FOREST CITY, IOWA – A Forest City man was jailed recently after a disturbance involving weapons.
At about 5:00 AM on January 1, 2016, Forest City police were called to the Greenfield Estates Mobile Home Park in Forest City for suspicious activity there. After an investigation, police arrested Mark Douglas Kuester, age 48 of Forest City. He was charged with Reckless Use of a Firearm, Going Armed with a Knife, Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication – 2nd Offense.
Quester awaits an arraignment on January 22. Last April, Kuester stood charged with felony going armed with intent, but took a plea deal to assault. He was jailed for two days and ordered to pay $941.28 in fines and court fees. Records show he has so far failed to make a payment on that balance.
