DES MOINES — Amy For America announced today that Senator Amy Klobuchar will become the first top-tier candidate for president to visit all of Iowa’s 99 counties before the February 3 Iowa caucuses — marking a major milestone with just six weeks left until caucus day.
On Friday, December 27, Senator Klobuchar will visit Emmet, Kossuth and Humboldt counties, completing her tour of the state’s 99 counties. Later that afternoon, the campaign will hold an event in Des Moines to celebrate the tour.
“From the start of our campaign, Amy committed to visiting all of Iowa’s 99 counties. We’re proud that before the end of 2019, we will have kept our promise to go everywhere and listen directly to caucusgoers across the Hawkeye State,” said Amy For America Iowa State Director Lauren Dillon. “Amy believes that for Democrats to win big, our party needs to bring people together around an optimistic, unifying agenda to get things done and improve people’s lives. No other candidate who is scheduled to debate at Drake University in January has visited all of Iowa’s 99 counties.

Affordable Housing: Combination of construction funding and rent subsidies.
Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar would expand the Low Income Housing Tax Credit to spur the construction of additional homes and increase investments in rural and Native American housing. She would boost funding for rental assistance programs, expand the Housing Choice Voucher program for families with children and create an emergency fund for renters through portable personal savings accounts.
Minimum Wage: Raise the federal minimum wage to $15/hour.
Paid Leave: Support broad paid family and medical leave plans up to 12 weeks.
Reparations: Study reparations: Democrats who support studying reparations fall in line with a plan from Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas), who has proposed forming a commission to define reparations and suggest the form any compensation should take. Sen. Cory Booker has introduced similar legislation in the Senate. Sens. Kamala Harris, Amy Klobuchar, Kirsten Gillibrand, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren have all co-sponsored the bill.
Cost of College: Two years should be free.

Farm Economy: Strengthen enforcement, but stop short of trust-busting.

Transportation: Pay for infrastructure through changing taxes on corporations, the wealthy. She put forward as a centerpiece of her campaign,an infrastructure proposal calling for a $1 trillion investment ($650 billion of which would come from federal funds) in everything from traditional transportation infrastructure to green practices and clean water.which has proposed funding come from rolling back the 2017 GOP tax code.

So does the (something about)Farmers Party of Minnesota.So do most state branches of this party.
Ok she looks kinda average. Don’t know much about her. She must be doing something right to be where she is at. So, it would be interesting to meet her. Warren on the other hand.
