ANKENY – An Iowa State university professor was among 11 people arrested this week in a prostitution sting in the town of Ankeny.

According to the Des Moines Register, Michael Spurlock, 54, of Ames, was arrested Wednesday at an undisclosed Ankeny hotel.  Spurlock is an Associate Professor at Iowa State University with a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Missouri.

About 12 hotels are watched in Ankeny by police, in an effort to root out possible human trafficking.

Do you know what human trafficking is Big Brother? If it is human trafficking it is people who are held against their will forced to prostitute.

Sex stings are ridiculous. Everybody has sex and we shouldn’t be looking to sting anyone over it. Why can’t government stay out of our private lives?

That’s about the only way an ISU clown will get any. That, and at the Veterinarian Dept. Sad week for Ames…again.
