Mason City man nabbed on warrants

MASON CITY – A Mason City man wanted on several warrants was picked up by Mason City police Friday afternoon.

Mason City police say they received information that Max John Lindsay, 20, was standing on the footbridge located at 2nd Street and South Conn. Ave.  Officers arrived and arrested Lindsay on the following warrants:

Violation of pre-trial release – burglary 3rd degree

Violation of pre-trial release -interference with official acts

Violation of pre-trial release -assault on health care provider

Failure to appear – public intox

Failure to appear – simple assault

Failure to appear – disorderly conduct

Failure to appear – simple harassment

Lindsay was also charged wth possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.

Lindsay was booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail at 6:44 PM and is waiting to see a judge.
