I was part of the 132nd FW (124th FS) from 1999 -2007. I started out as a crew chief then worked in flight operations. I can honestly say that I am honored to have worked with such a great group of airmen and pilots. I am saddened by the fact that they will be replacing the F-16s with UAVs. Talk to anyone who has been in the Air Force for any amount of time – they are not happy replacing manned aircraft with unmanned aircraft. When I joined the active duty Air Force in 1990, I never thought I would see the day this would happen. Eddie Rickenbacher is rolling over in his grave.

Yes, they are. They are being partially replaced with a Drone Group but still a lot of lost jobs.

I heard their disbanding this group ???
