WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer has today submitted a letter to the White House notifying President Biden of his retirement from the Supreme Court:
Justice Breyer was nominated by President Clinton and took his oath of office on August 3, 1994.
President Biden has already declared that Breyer will be replaced by an African-American woman. The Court currently is viewed as having a 6-3 conservative majority.

According to a new SSRS for CNN poll, a majority of Democrats do not want President Joe Biden to run again in 2024. The survey found that 51% of voters identifying themselves as either Democrat or Democratic-leaning don’t want Biden to run again.

The constitution and this country were founded in Christianity. Here you are free to worship and believe as you wish. But none the less a Christian country with Christian values that people have managed to forget and move away from. Hence all the problems.
The Bible is not the law of this country. The country was founded on the idea of religious freedom. That means freedom from religious law too. If you really want to go back to the Bible as our law, then we are going to have to build a prison in every town in the country. Ever looked at a woman with lust? You are going to prison. Ever lied? You are going to prison. Missed church last Sunday? Go directly to jail.
That’s a dishonest response. You pretend not to know what was meant. They said Christian values, not religious enforcement.
The radical evangelicals do not differentiate between religious law and enforcement of religious dogma. Their plan has always been to create a nation where ‘Christian’ values are the law. But they don’t look at the New Testament when defining those laws. They choose to look at the Old Testament and its draconian justice.
