Narcotics Task Force captures wanted Mason City man

MASON CITY – On Thursday October 24, 2013 at 1615 hours, members of the North Central Iowa Narcotics Task Force along with the US Marshals arrested Frank Alan Mosher of Mason City on several state warrants and a federal warrant. Mosher was located at 111 14th ST NE in Mason City, IA.

Mosher’s state warrants included Cerro Gordo Count warrants of: Original charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana, failure to appear reference a plea change for operating while barred-habitual and possession of methamphetamine, failure to appear for plea change hearing reference possession of methamphetamine 3rd or subsequent and failure to appear for pretrial conference reference harassment in the second degree. A Worth County warrant of driving while barred and a Floyd County warrant of contemptuous behavior toward court.

Mosher’s federal warrant was for two counts: count 1, possession of a firearm by a felon and count 2, possession of a short barred shotgun.

At the time of arrest, Mosher was also found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was consequently charged with possession of a controlled substance 3rd or subsequent and possession of drug paraphernalia. Possession of a controlled substance 3rd or subsequent is a class “D” felony and possession of drug paraphernalia is a simple misdemeanor.

  1. he”s caught but his drug assocates who live around the corner still have a good business going in the last 1 1/2 hour 27 cars have come and gone, business is booming!! need something 1514 n madison is where to get it……….. oh yes the mcpd, drug task , and sheriff know about this, but they have more rights than m/c residents…

      1. talked with neighabor today since 3pm today 48 cars ( must have a call ahesd service for fast p/u., mosher has been see in & out of this place, this has been a drug house before the mcpd had a stand off about 1 1/2 ago, the landlord was never held resposiable because all he cares about is rent due on time…the city should tear down this home it’s unfit to live in.
