DES MOINES – Cory Booker returned to Iowa for five days to make the case to Iowans as to why he is the candidate with the experience and vision to lead our nation.
The details for his last day of the trip are below, including an updated location for his stop in Mt. Pleasant.
Cory started the swing in Des Moines talking to caucus goers on debate night as promised, then kicked off a four-day, 11-county bus tour in Dallas County. Surveys, early state endorsements, and energy on the ground show that caucus-goers like Cory Booker, he will make the case on this tour that now is the time to commit to caucus for him on February 3rd.
Throughout this campaign, Cory has highlighted his record of leadership and laid out a vision for the future of this country grounded in channeling America’s common pain into common purpose. On this trip, he will touch on his plans to ensure every American has access to quality affordable health care, combat the epidemic of gun violence in our country, and tackle the mental health crisis impacting so many families, among other critical issues facing Iowans.
