WASHINGTON, D.C. – Republicans are hailing a federal judge’s ruling against President Barack Obama’s executive action protecting illegal aliens from deportation as a “win for the rule of law”.

United States District Judge Andrew Hanen out of Texas blocked President Barack Obama’s Executive action to shield 5 million undocumented immigrants from deportation. The temporary injunction halts, for the moment, Obama’s executive order that spares up to 5 million illegal aliens th prospect of being kicked out of the United States.

“The government has simply chosen not to enforce the United States’ border security laws,” Hanen said. Hansen went on to say that states who are against the executive order would “suffer irreparable harm in this case” and that once the executive order was in effect, there would be no going back.

“The genie would be impossible to put back into the bottle,” he said.

U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said the “ruling underscores what the President has already acknowledged publicly 22 times: He doesn’t have the authority to take the kinds of actions he once referred to as ‘ignoring the law’ and ‘unwise and unfair.’ ”

Outspoken Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas was especially happy with the court’s ruling.

“The Texas court decision reached last night is a major turning point in the fight to stop Obama’s lawless amnesty. (Texas) Gov. Abbott and Attorney General Paxton are leading a coalition of 26 states to block the illegal executive actions and to protect our states, cities, and communities. This is a major victory for the rule of law; the District Court’s ruling states that President Obama must now stop implementing these policies in ‘any and all aspects.'”

The White House said it will appeal the ruling.

“The Supreme Court and Congress have made clear that the federal government can set priorities in enforcing our immigration laws—which is exactly what the President did when he announced commonsense policies to help fix our broken immigration system,” the White House said in a statement. “Those policies are consistent with the laws passed by Congress and decisions of the Supreme Court, as well as five decades of precedent by presidents of both parties who have used their authority to set priorities in enforcing our immigration laws.

“The Department of Justice, legal scholars, immigration experts, and the district court in Washington, D.C. have determined that the President’s actions are well within his legal authority. Top law enforcement officials, along with state and local leaders across the country, have emphasized that these policies will also benefit the economy and help keep communities safe. The district court’s decision wrongly prevents these lawful, commonsense policies from taking effect and the Department of Justice has indicated that it will appeal that decision.”

I can’t post this picture but Matt could. It says a lot about our new would be Mexican citizens.

Humility? Not!

This picture was taken today after a group of Mexican illegals heard the news.

@watchdog-the picture shows it all. They just want to get on our welfare system and get our tax dollars without doing a thing to earn it.

Last week, IRS Commissioner John Koskinen testified before Congress and stated that Pres. Obamas Executive Amnesty allows for the newly legalized illegal aliens to qualify for the generous Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). They will also be allowed to claim retroactive credits for up to three years once they are issued a social security number — even if they didn’t file or pay taxes at the time.

I wonder where the money will come from for windfall to the illegals???

How does 5-11 million illegal aliens “benefit our economy” and “help keep our communities safe”. I would ask the border states this question, and see what they say.

It is about time someone did something to stop this illegal, unconstitutional act.
