DES MOINES – Iowa elected officials will discuss regulating marijuana similar to alcohol in a Wednesday afternoon press conference.
Iowa elected officials will take part in a statewide Zoom news conference calling for Iowa to regulate marijuana like alcohol. At that event, a list of local and state Iowa officeholders who support this will be released.

The event will be live-streamed at 1 PM on Wednesday, January 6, on State Senator Joe Bolkcom’s Facebook page,

  1. I hope it passes, as marijuana has benefits for many illnesses. As a PTSD sufferer and migraine sufferer I learned long ago that a simple toke or two helps my mind to stop being in overdrive at night and I can sleep and also relieves my awful headaches.

Getting stoned isn’t my thing, when you see a stoned adult idiot giggling and saying he’s going to wet himself because he can’t move it sickens the soul.
