Would you have ever imagined our Department of Justice would spy on reporters, send guns and ammo to Mexican drug cartels, collude with the USDA to give away $4 billion to buy votes through the Pigford scheme while several “Solyndras” squander billions more to pay back donors? That the IRS and EPA would target and harass anything that even sounds conservative? Or that the State Department would stonewall the truth over the Benghazi terrorist attack and Obama would later appoint Susan Rice–the ringleader of the cover up–as National Security Advisor? And not to mention the generational theft that is our rapidly expanding national debt and passing bills so we can find out what’s in them, all while using fake employees and fake emails!
Actually, I bet you could. But, maybe not in just four short years.
Unfortunately, all of those issues and many more have one thing in common: the “Chicago Way” President Obama. His administration has set a new standard for irresponsibility. It has gotten so bad even the media reality check bounced. That’s what happens when you spy on your friends.
Please know I am working night and day to reveal the truth in all these cases and more. It is certainly no easy task. Each government agency is stalling and diverting attention to confuse these issues. As a member of the Judiciary and Agriculture Committees, I have questioned Attorney General Holder and Secretary Vilsack under oath. Neither offered even the slightest bit of information or responsibility.
From Lois Lerner to Hillary Clinton, any witnesses and all hearings joined to get to the bottom of these outlandish catastrophes have been met with pleas of incompetence or a “what-difference-does-it-make” neglect. Only in the minds of the liberal elite strolling through the West Wing do facts not speak for themselves.
These hearings have highlighted the real problem is bigger than just a few rambunctious bureaucrats. This administration has purposefully created a culture of corruption willing to use any means necessary to further their agenda and candidates. This is an absolute breach of our contract with government.
And I don’t believe our choice of government needs to be between incompetent and untrustworthy. Using government to attain privileged status is nothing new in American history, but the dizzying levels to which this administration has taken cronyism is like comparing the major leagues to tee ball. And now that they are backed into an irrevocable moral corner it is certain to get even worse. We need the courage to match their chutzpah.
Rest assured the lever in your voting booth is still attached to something. I am your conservative voice in Congress working overtime to reestablish the proper relationship between the citizen and their government. No more should we allow anonymous bureaucrats to make moral judgments on the hard-working families of this country.
Therefore, now is the time for action. Big ideas and strong conservative leadership can restore faith in government.
Sincerely,
Steve King
Member of Congress, Iowa
If only Mr. King actually knew what the Chicago Way really is. What was mentioned in the article is historically far from Chicago politics and antics was in it’s heyday.
While there was corruption, it was based upon financial enrichment, and power, whats in it for me was the cry of the day.
While Mr. King would like to link Obama to the crooked politician in the style of Chicago circa 1880 to 1980, in reality, Mr. Obama was always an outsider looking in. Hardly part of any inner circle of any machine or it’s long standing cronies. Today’s crop of pols and Aldermen are pikers compared to the days under Richard J.
Wingnuts!
Don’t forget about the Libtards…….
Our Country needs to impeach Obuma and get him out before he makes anymore mistakes with our country.
All that is nothing compared to starting a 3 trillion dollar war(so far) over lies. Was it worth it?
Exactly.
Really you two dumbasses…that is nothing compared to that? I didn’t approve of the war but I sure as hell don’t approve of what is going on now. None of it is acceptable. Pull your heads out of you Liberal asses long enough to realize this crap isn’t good. At all.
Our government is out of control. This isn’t a Left thing or a right thing. This about what is right and neither of you are anywhere close to right if you are ok with this shit. I can’t believe you have that big of Liberal ego….wait…acutally, I can. It just makes me want to puke in my mouth.
You’d be cryin like a little bitch if it was a Republican president and all this was going on. Too bad neither of you are MAN ENOUGH to admit it.
” My Voice” well said. Couldn’t agree with you more
“My Voice-well said. These libs just never learn.
“You’d be cryin like a little bitch if it was a Republican president and all this was going on.”
Already did my cryin’ during the eight years Bush was in office and got us involved in wasteful wars. I’m SO glad that’s over.
Ya well, I wasn’t a real huge fan of Bush myself either.
More importantly NOW though is what BOTH sides come together on is this out of control government and the unconstitutional over reach it feels is OK. If you can’t see that then I’m sorry dude…you might just be a dumbass.
Absolutely agree that our government is out of control and needs to be reigned in. Corruption is rampant. The only thing that’ll fix this is 100 more Elizabeth Warrens in both the House & Senate. She’s trying, but one person can’t do it.
Sorry, I can’t support her. She is off base with her gun control ideals. A subject that I feel needs to be addressed from a criminal act standpoint more than from a device standpoint. It doesn’t make sense to me to ban sports cars for high speed chases, or strip clubs for infidility issues, or eating utensils for obesity, or even taverns for alcoholism any more than it does for a GUN for murder. The individual and the act is what should be held accountable, not the tool.
Another off base ideal of Liberalism.
She may have some other good ideals that I could be in tune with but I can’t get past the ignorance of addressing the root cause of gun violence so I don’t look any further. If you have some other good points about her, feel free to enlighten me.
Thanks for your thoughts.
My Voice, I agree with you that gun control isn’t the answer. We need “wacko” control, and that’s finally being addressed with the renewed push for better mental health treatment. I have a gun for protection and I firmly believe in this right for responsible citizens.
Elizabeth Warren is going after the “too big to fail” corporations. This is a start. We’ve let them get away with fleecing U.S. citizens for far too long. She’s new at this, and I just hope she can keep at it long enough to get something done before she becomes ambivalent and disenchanted, just as other newcomers have.
Well ALRIGHTY THEN!!!
I am happy to admit when I’m wrong…Catch that???
I WAS WRONG. I don’t think you’re a dumbass.
I still don’t like your Emperor tho. He lies too much, is too far left, and is way to arrogant about it all.
Plus, as far as I know he’s the only President in history to divide the country so badly. He needs to have his ideals but learn to work with the other side.
Don’t get me wrong the other side needs a lot of work too.
Thanks again.
When are you going to understand that the intel that led us to invade Iraq came from spies from other countries who wanted the U.S. to do just that? The bad intel about how close Saddam was to a bomb came from an Iraqi who wanted Saddam toppled. And Bush did not act on his own. Many members of Congress saw the same intel he did and many Democrats voted for the war for the same reasons he did. And if you don’t think Saddam was supporting Al Quaeda, you’re naive. Ever hear the saying, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.”
“No more should we allow anonymous bureaucrats to make moral judgments on the hard-working families of this country.”
Then the government should stay out of the abortion business and gay marriage, Stevie.
WOW! You are SO right. They should ALSO stay out of my right to protect myself and my family huh?
Pretty much they should stay the fuk out of most of the shit they are trying to take control of.
You may not be all that bad after all….
Who’d a thunk it!!!
This should surprise no one.
Yup. Obama and SOS.
Yawn…Same baby…same diaper.
