MASON CITY – A Mason City man was taken to jail after a reported assault incident.
Police were called to an apartment at 627 8th Street SE Friday evening just before 6 PM after an emergency call was made about an altercation. After a report as taken, officers arrested 61-year-old Wayne Leroy Everett. He was charged with serious assault and harassment and taken to jail.
Everett posted bond and was released pending a court date.
With Wayno– there must be some really unfortunate circumstances for this to happen. In recent years, he has turned his life around and has been doing well. There has got to be more to this story and must have been really provoked to get into it….
