MASON CITY – Police were called to the Wal-Mart Supercenter Friday to arrest a woman detained by employees for shoplifting.
At just after noon on Friday, November 7, loss prevention employees at Wal-Mart, 4151 4th Street SW, called police to alert them that they had detained 52-year-old Jane Ellen Query of Mason City for stealing. Police arrived and arrested Query. She was charged with fifth degree theft and fourth degree theft.
Query was jailed and held on $1,000 bond.
