Two men arrested after burnout in East Park

MASON CITY – Two men were arrested Saturday after an incident in East Park that involved reckless driving.

Police were called to East Park on Saturday, October 18 at about 3:37 PM after a person reported a reckless driver operating in a dangerous fashion.  Police arrived and stopped a vehicle being driven by Ric Troge, age 23, of Mason City, with a passenger, 19-year-old Brody Lee Boggess. It was alleged that Troge had done a “burnout” in the park with children nearby.

Police stopped the car and questioned the two men.

“I wasn’t being boligerant (sic) or anything and they still decided to **ck with us,” Boggess reported via social media, regarding the interaction with police. “**ck them man. At least we had a few laughs in between.”

After an investigation, police arrested Troge on charges of operating while intoxicated and reckless driving.

“Ok yeah I drank a little and drove. My mistake,” Troge reported via social media. “Not like I’m the only one. But the reckless driving charge is **cking bullshit. I did a 30 sec burnout. And if I hit a kid maybe the parents shouldn’t let their kids play in the road. So if people want to keep talking about my driving just remember I was charged for sitting in one fucking spot away from the kids!!”

Boggess was arrested for alcohol violations, according to a report.

Later, Troge alleged that jailers had ripped him off.

“So I go to jail for breaking the law but when the jailer **cks me out of $100 that’s ok. We did the math and we agreed I was suppose to get $131 back but only got $31 back. But nobody knows where that extra $100 went. Which mean I won’t get it back. An yet I’m suppose to abide and respect the law even when we get screwed for paying our dues. Doesn’t make sense.”

You are so simple minded. Alcohol influences poor judgment yes but social media twisting a story leads to people believing everything before finding the truth. The story was twisted. Yes I made a mistake and I owned up to it. But I’d rather be an idiot by learning from the mistakes than an simple minded society that only talks shit to feel apart of something well congrats. Your apart of a ignorant, judgmental and problematic society that’s no better than the people they demean. Get the story straight than instead of just saying it you can also give yourself credit for growing up otherwise children bully and run down others to feel better about themselves. So all in all fallowing a childish society makes you no better than me with or without me wearing striped.

Don’t do dumb shit and you won’t go to jail

They must have been drinking, Bud wizer, as we all know, it makes you wise. On the road to becoming career criminals.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste

This is the type of attitudes these low life’s have. They must think they are chamber members who can get away with anything they do.
