MASON CITY – A Mason City woman originally arrested during a law enforcement sweep where drug offenders were rounded is accused of violating her probation.
Sarah Sue Movick, age 27 of Mason City, was served a warrant Tuesday afternoon at the Cerro Gordo County Jail. The warrant is in connection to a guilty plea last November to a felony D charge of delivery of marijuana. A second charge was dismissed in the plea deal, and five-year prison sentence was suspended as was a $750 fine.
Movick may face the imposition of all or part of the original sentencing guidelines for the probation violation. She awaits a hearing on October 17.
Movick was rounded up along with 13 other drug offenders last year by the North Central Iowa Narcotics Task Force.

Peer pressure is everything with these people. The only way to stay away from drugs is to stay away from the people who use and sell them. It is the same with alcohol.
