IOWA CITY – An Iowa Hawkeye basketball player pled guilty to driving with a suspended license and was fined.

Peter Jok, age 20, a sophomore guard from West Des Moines, pled guilty on September 12 to a charge of driving with a suspended license. He was ordered to pay $1,460.00 in fines and court fees. Records show he has paid the bill in full.

In May, Jok pled guilty to drunk driving. He was ordered to pay $845.00 in fines and court costs. Records show he already paid that bill in full. In addition, Jok was placed on probation for a year.

Records show that last week, Jok plead guilty to being in contempt of court and was ordered to jail for four days.

Jok was suspended from the team this summer for his on-going legal issues.
