Mason City man arrested after numerous law enforcement agencies conduct investigation and execute search warrants into meth and fentanyl dealing

MASON CITY – A Mason City man was arrested this morning after numerous law enforcement agencies conducted an investigation and executed search warrants into meth and fentanyl dealing in the area.

On May 5, 2022 the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department with the assistance of multiple agencies executed six search warrants at the following locations:

– 1637 N. Delaware Ave in Mason City, IA (see story involving this address from 2016)
– 1633 N Delaware Ave. in Mason City, IA
– 18-14th N.E. in Mason City, IA
– 1224 North Washington Ave. Apartment #1 in Mason City, IA
– 202 North Madison Ave. in Mason City, IA
– 208 East Spring St. in Manly, IA

The search warrants were in furtherance of an investigation into a Methamphetamine and fentanyl distribution group in the North Iowa Area. Felix Allen Arp, age 30 of Mason City, was arrested and taken into custody. Arp has been charged with:

– Possession of Methamphetamine With The Intent To Deliver a Class B Felony
– Possession of fentanyl with Intent To Deliver a Class C Felony
– Possession of Marijuana a Class D Felony
– Three County’s of Drug Tax Stamp Violations all D felonies.

Recovered at the warrant searches were methamphetamine, fentanyl, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The case is ongoing and other charges are pending involving this case. Any information involving this subject or addresses listed above please contact the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department.

Assisting the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office in the case were the Clear Lake Police Department, Iowa State Patrol Troopers and Tactical Team, Iowa Division Of Narcotics Enforcement, North Iowa Narcotics Task Force Special Operations Team and Investigators, Story County ERT, Manly Police Department, Mason City Police Department, Worth County Sheriff’s Department and Task Forces from Waterloo-Tri-County, Mid Iowa Task Force and Central Iowa Drug Task Force.

  2. Nuisances to society need to be disposed of properly. This dumb f**k is a waste of oxygen and is a straight up pest. Take him out back and shoot him, we would all be better off.
