Russia sells United States of America ventilators to save citizens from COVID-19

Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, who sold USA ventilators.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Valdimir Putin’s Russia has graciously stepped in to sell the United States of America ventilators to save its citizens from COVID-19.

The U.S. Department of State announced on April 1:

The United States is committed to the global fight against COVID-19.  We are a generous and reliable contributor to crisis response and humanitarian action across the world, but we cannot do it alone.  The countries of the G20 agreed last week to work together to defeat the coronavirus, and we are working closely with these countries and others to ensure that critically needed supplies get to those in need.

As a follow-up to the March 30 phone call between President Trump and President Putin, the United States has agreed to purchase needed medical supplies, including ventilators and personal protection equipment, from Russia, which were handed over to FEMA on April 1 in New York City.

Both countries have provided humanitarian assistance to each other in times of crisis in the past and will no doubt do so again in the future.  This is a time to work together to overcome a common enemy that threatens the lives of all of us.

For the record NO ONE is blaming the President for the virus. Let me repeat. Coronavirus is not Trump’s fault.
Here’s a detailed list of what we are blaming him for:

* Trump declined to use the World Health Organization’s test like other nations. Back in January, over a month before the first Co-vid19 case, the Chinese posted a new mysterious virus and within a week, Berlin virologists had produced the first diagnostic test. By the end of February, the WHO had shipped out tests to 60 countries. Oh, but not our government. We declined the test even as a temporary bridge until the CDC could create its own test. The question is why? We don’t know but what to look for is which pharmaceutical company eventually manufactures the test and who owns the stock. Keep tuned.

* In 2018 Trump fired Homeland Security Advisor Tom Bossart, whose job was to coordinate a response to global pandemics. He was not replaced.

* In 2018 Dr. Luciana Borio, the NSC director for medical and bio-defense preparedness left the job. Trump did not replace Dr. Borio.

* In 2019 the NSC’s Senior Director for Global Health Security and bio-defense, Tim Ziemer, left the position and Trump did not replace the Rear Admiral.

* Trump shut down the entire Global Health Security and Bio-defense agency. Yes, he did.

* Amid the explosive worldwide outbreak of the virus Trump proposed a 19% cut to the budget of the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention plus a 10% cut to Public Health Services and a 7% cut to Global Health Services. Those happen to be the organizations that respond to public health threats.

So… We’re plagiarizing now?

* In 2018, at Trump’s direction, the CDC stopped funding epidemic prevention activities in 39 out of 49 countries including China.

* Trump didn’t appoint a doctor to oversee the US response to the pandemic. He appointed Mike Pence.

* Trump has on multiple occasions sowed doubt about the severity of the virus even using the word hoax at events and rallies. He even did it at an event where the virus was being spread. Trump has put out zero useful information concerning the health risks of the virus.

* Trump pretended the virus had been contained.

* Trump left a cruise ship at sea for days, denying them proper hospital care, rather than increase his numbers in America.

Repeat. We do not blame Trump for the virus. We blame him for gutting the nation’s preparations to deal with it. We blame him for bungling testing and allowing it to spread uninhibited. We blame him for wasting taxpayer money on applause lines at his rallies (like The Wall). We blame him for putting his own political life over American human life. I hope this clears things up.”

This is why the U.S. has the highest number of cases on the planet!!!

Very Very well said. All true facts that cannot be denied.

It may be “well said,” but this plagiarist didn’t say it.

The USA would have all the Personal Protective Equipment, ventilators, and other need medical supplies if the Donald’s administration had not defunded all the federal emergency response programs and departments.

Oh yes. It’s all Trump’s fault. You are nothing if not predictable. Stock up on Kleenex, cuz you have years of President Trump ahead, crybaby.

According to FactCheck.org, in the 2020 fiscal year budget, Trump proposed a $750.6 million cut in CDC funding; Congress APPROVED a budget that INCREASED it by $420 million and President Trump SIGNED IT.

But, there still remains the fact President Trump “ASKED” for a cut in CDC funding. That looks bad — until you consider Obama did it in five out of his eight budget proposals. So, therefore, it must be alright ask for these sort of things.

In its fiscal year 2013 budget, the Obama/ Biden administration sought a total funding level of $5.9 billion from the CDC, or a $569 million cut from the 2012 budget of $6.46 billion. In fiscal year 2015, the Obama/ Biden administration also wanted a $414 million cut year-over-year, and again in the fiscal year 2017 budget, the Obama/ Biden administration looked to eliminate $251 million in CDC funding.

Something like this doesn’t get talked about very often because, well, we don’t talk that way about Saint Obama and his band of merry disciples.

Please shove your hand up your backside, take a firm grasp of your head, and pull.

Obama is the one who cut the crap out of that budget. Trump wanted to do some cuts to it, but, couldn’t get them.
They were cut in 2011, 2013, and 2015. Yep, I guess it was Trump, 5 years, then 3 years, then a year before he was elected.

you are such a DUMBASS!!!
