MASON CITY – Norman Owein Erlacher, age 59, was last seen around 8:00 pm Monday night, wearing blue jeans and a sweatshirt, at his residence at the 600 block of South Van Buren.
Erlacher’s disappearance is not typical of his behavior but appears to be voluntary. Police have interviewed his roommate and nearest relatives. He also has health concerns and appears to be without his medication.
He had left on foot, without his wallet, without his glasses, house keys nor cell phone.
Erlacher, again, is 59 years of age, 5′ – 8″ and about 190 lbs., balding, with blue eyes and gray beard.
