Dewey E. LeSuer, 59, of 227 6th St. N.W., Mason City died at his home Monday June 18, 2012.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday June 21, 2012 at Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 2nd Street S.E., Mason City, with the Rev. Daird Korth of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Ventura officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment with be at the Elmwood Cemetery Columbarium in Mason City.
Dewey Eugene was born on December 26, 1952 in Bemidji, Minnesota to Dewey and Luella (Geiser) Wilson. He attended Brainard High School before moving to the Mason City area where he graduated from Mason City High School. He married Velda Waters on June 26, 1976, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Mason City, Iowa. He worked as a janitor with Easter Super Value, Mason City for over nine years before being disabled by his epilepsy in 1991.
Dewey enjoyed reading and was especially adept at playing cards especially Rook with family and friends. He also enjoyed listening to music and book tapes. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.
Dewey is survived by Velda his wife of 35 years along with numerous nephews and nieces.Dewey was preceded in death by his parents, son Corey in infancy, and sister, Stella Adkins.
