Mark was born on August 18, 1960, in Duluth, MN, and was raised by his parents, Bernice and Dilbert Olson. He lived in the surrounding area for the past 28 years, and worked the swing shift at Kraft in Mason City. Mark was a dedicated worker, but in his free time he liked to play backgammon on the computer, watch the Vikings and Twins, and collect baseball cards. The true loves of his life were his children, who he played mini golf, sports, wii, and watched movies with; also, his dog Tripper, who was like another child to him. Tripper’s cremains will be buried with him.
Mark is survived by his three children: Megan Hinnenkamp of Hanlontown,
Michael and DJ Hinnenkamp of Burlington; his mother, Bernice Olson of Waterloo; his two sisters, Ramona (Kevin) Kirkoff and Rhonda (Terry) Brombley of Waterloo; brother, Dean (Lisa) Hinnenkamp of Menomie, Wisconsin; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dilbert Olson.
