Dear Mason Citians, my name is Chris Nicholson and I would like for you to consider me as a write-in candidate for the Mason City Park Board on Tuesday November 7th. I feel this is a great way for me to give back to my community I have lived in Mason City my entire life, grew up grilling hotdogs in East Park and riding my bike on the trails out to Lime Creek. Recently I have spent countless days chaperoning my niece and her friends at most of the many parks and playgrounds. I enjoy helping with the Moonlight Movies in East Park, and walking my dog at Georgia Hanford, but my favorite pastime is enjoying the trails and waters of Lester Milligan Park.
My goal is to help continue the strong tradition of safe and healthy parks for family entertainment and encourage fellow community members to expand their involvement in future park activities and gatherings to enjoy our great outdoors.

If public service, background and sincerity are good traits to get elected, vote Mike “Doc” Adams. Long time MC resident, softball player, with several years as a public servant working in the park department. Here’s knowledge about the park department operations that should not be wasted.
