HANCOCK COUNTY – A Forest City man was hospitalized in Mason City after a vehicle rollover Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities were called to a crash site in Hancock county Tuesday at about 4:30 PM after a 1989 Cadillac DeVille driven by 52-year-old Timothy Gross left the roadway and rolled. A crash report indicates that Gross was west bound on Highway B16 when he swerved to avoid contact with another vehicle and lost control. The vehicle left the roadway, rolled and entered a ditch where it became partially submerged in standing water.
Gross was taken to Mercy Medical Center North Iowa.
The accident reins under investigation.
