WEST UNION – Police in this rural northeast Iowa county arrested a woman after she put her child at risk during an assault.
According to the Fayette County Sheriff, on February 2, 2014 at 3:17 PM the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was notified of an assault that occurred at a rural Wadena residence. After an investigation, it was learned that 33-year-old Tara May Ingles of Wadena had assaulted her ex-boyfriend and in the process, placed her four-year-old child in immediate danger of harm.
Ingles was charged with Domestic Abuse Assault (Simple Misdemeanor) and Child Endangerment (Aggravated Misdemeanor). She was transported to the Fayette County Jail. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Clayton County Sheriff’s Office in this case.
Ingles awaits a February 19th court date.
