AMES – Authorities in Ames are dealing with multiple stabbings and police say a suspect is on the loose.
On November 8, 2024, at approximately 5:30 PM, Officers responded to a report of multiple stabbings in the 3700 block of Tripp Street. Upon arrival. officers located a crime scene in the street. Two victims were located away from the scene and were transported to Mary Greeley Medical Center. Another victim arrived at Mary Greeley Medical Center by private vehicle. One victim was subsequently transferred to MercvOne Medical Center in Des Moines. The current conditions on all three are unknown.
The suspect is currently at large, police say, and this is an active and ongoing investigation. They plan to release further information once it is available.
