Just think how much effort goes into trying to circumvent the public from your true agenda. Wouldn’t it be easier to share with those who elected you? I am not necessarily referring to anyone individual but to a cross section in our City Hall who are silently poking around with the Sanitation Department and the Fire Department as well. Just what the hell is the big secret? What else in this town is going to fall prey to this dysfunctional covey that runs this city like it was a conspiracy.
If you as voters and property owners and every other form of residency do not speak up, then they will do with this town whatever they damn please. The only ammunition in your gun is your vote; other than that, you are pretty much defenseless. If you blogg on this site your thoughts and words go directly into the highest level of administration in City Hall; not only is every article read, every response to that article is read as well. They would never admit to it but they too blogg; their feeble attempts to justify their failed Development Director and the other kid who combs his hair down over his forehead like he was 14, has some title and does little. If they really want to initiate a lean government, those two positions would be a good place to start cutting.
It is from your bloggs that your opponent evaluates your level of intelligence and possible resistance to their agenda; its kinda like looking at the cards in your hand during a poker game. I urge you to speak your mind, let these people know what you want and what you think. If I were you I certainly wouldn’t bother with any of the council positions. You might as slam your hand in a car door as to interrupt the euphonic trance they’re in. For a very brief moment it was thought by seasoned council watchers that one…maybe two would take the citizens concerns seriously…but that didn’t last long. It will be found that electing that council will go down in the history of this city as one of the biggest frauds ever perpetrated on any community in the 21st century. The tapes noe being recorded will be used in political science classes as examples of how to turn your back on your constitutes ….or the best way not to get re-elected. I didn’t watch the last council meeting because I had run out of nausea pills…… If I want to watch a choreographed act, I can watch the Rockettes from Radio City Music Hall in New York and at least get some enjoyment from it.
