BRITT, IOWA – The Hancock County Sheriff’s office today confirmed that it was notified on July 8th, 2012 of a body in a field between the towns of Britt and Kanawha.  The deceased was identified as Patricia Benge, 61, of 1760 James Avenue.  Family members had reported Benge missing the previous night, and she was ultimately discovered by a family member.

An autopsy has been performed.  The investigation continues, but law enforcement says foul play is not suspected.

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office has been assisted in the investigation by the Britt Police Department, the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, the Iowa State Patrol, the Hancock County Medical Examiner, and the West Hancock Ambulance Service.

This sounds very strange to me. I hope that there is more of investigation on this. I am picking up some very strange vibs and have ever since the second I heard about this story. A blind woman even in a confused state of mind would come out the front only to find her way to the back by feeling around the house. 30 feet from her house in a low field???? Blind and not in the revine???? The only way that a blind women at the age of 61 who has lived in her house as long as she did would wonder to were she was found would be if she was fleeing from something or someone or placed there by someone. Cleaning products do not cover up DNA.

Tell me, was the bump on the blind woman’s head caused before or after the heart attach and what was in the field that she bumped her head on. Why wasn’t her brother concerned about her disappearance? After all, he was caring for her. Why was he cleaning out her house prior to him finding her body?
He had motive and stands to inherit the farm.
Crime doesn’t pay, but it isn’t a crime when it can be explained away with “natural causes”.

Damn north end!

JODI?

Be nice. Steve

No foul play? Yeah how many people die in fields of natural causes…..

Often, in fact. Not saying this is what happened here, but people suffering Alztheimers or dementia often take off wandering and die in an open field somewhere.
