RURAL CERRO GORDO COUNTY – A fatal accident has claimed the life of a Rockwell woman, and a Charles City man faces a serious crime in connection with the death.
On December 22, 2017, Cerro Gordo county deputies responded to a single vehicle rollover accident in the 24000 block of 190th Street in rural Cerro Gordo County. Deputies found a 2008 Dodge Ram in the North embankment, off of the roadway, which had rolled several times. One passenger in the vehicle was ejected and died on the scene. The driver of the Truck, Thomas John Parcher, 28, of Charles City, was charged with Homicide by Vehicle. He was transported to the Cerro Gordo County Jail and held for $25,000 bond. The name of the person killed was released Friday morning. The deceased is 50-year-old Tonya Martin of Rockwell.
