AFTON, IOWA – Two are dead and two are injured after an auto accident Thursday evening in central Iowa.
According to a report, a 2003 Chrysler Sebring driven by 19 year-old Sierra Peddycoart of Afton, Iowa was stopped at a stop sign on Thursday at about 5 PM at the intersection of Highway 169 and Highway 34 near Afton when she proceeded through the intersection as another vehicle, a 2010 Chevy Tahoe driven by Beth Kulow, age 30, of Creston, Iowa was traveling through the intersection.
Peddycoart and her passenger, Lori Anderson, age 51 of Afton, both suffered fatal injuries in the ensuing collision.
Kulow and a passenger in her vehicle, Kinsley Knustrom, age 2, were both injured and taken to area hospitals.
