BOSTON, April 15 (UPI) — Two explosions rocked the finish line at the Boston Marathon Monday, causing numerous injuries, police said.
WCVB-TV, Boston, reported the blasts were 15 second apart near the finish line. ABC said there were a dozen injuries. There was no immediate word on deaths.
Victims were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital.
The blast occurred as thousands of people were lined up to watch the 117th Boston Marathon.
