GREEN BAY – The Minnesota Vikings travel to Green Bay for a frigid playoff game Saturday night.
Minnesota just a week ago beat Green Bay in Minneapolis 37-34 behind star running back Adrian Peterson’s 199 yards on 34 carries. He also rushed for one touchdown and caught a touchdown pass. By losing the game, Green Bay was forced into a first round home payoff game against their hated division rival.
This week, the stakes are much higher, and the teams are extremely familiar with each other. The Packers have several key playmakers returning from injury, while the Vikings still feature Adrian Peterson.
However, another big day from “AP” may not be enough. Minnesota is 0-3 at Lambeau Field when Peterson rushes for over 100 yards. in the Vike’s last trip to Lambeau on December 2nd, Peterson’s 210 rushing yards were not enough as Green Bay won 23-14.
The Green Bay Packers will participate in the playoffs for the 28th time, the third-most postseason appearances in NFL history. Minnesota makes its 27th appearance.
Game time temps are predicted be in the mid twenties.

Face up to it. The Vikings were just flat out played on both defense and offense. They are just not a playoff caliber team. It wouldhave made very little difference if Ponder had played. The result would have been the same.
To bad the general poublic did’nt know that Ponder would not play – bookies in Vegas knew first part of the week – opinion – fishy! -Webb is a 3rd string quarterback and shows it – Ponder beat the cheezheads twice and without their number 2 man Percy Harvin – cheezheads are always lucky – I never seen a prior announcement ponder would be pulled – FISHY !
