NORMAL, ILLINOIS – The UNI Panthers men’s basketball team (7-7 overall, 0-2 MVC) will look to snap its two-game losing skid when the Panthers travel to Illinois State (9-5 overall, 0-2 MVC) on Saturday for a 7 p.m. tip at Redbird Arena.
Illinois State leads the all-time series, 35-26. However, UNI is 6-3 in its last nine games at Redbird Arena.
llinois State (9-5 overall, 0-2 MVC) will be looking for its first league win of the season on Saturday. The Redbirds began conference play with a 77-75 loss at Indiana State and and a 79-72 home setback to Creighton.
The Redbirds are led in scoring by senior Jackie Carmichael (17.3 ppg) and senior Tyler Brown (16.6 ppg). Carmichael is also averaging 8.3 rebounds per game.
Illinois State holds a 35-26 lead in the all-time series vs. UNI. However, UNI has won six of its last nine games in Redbird Arena.
