Cerro Gordo County Board of Supervisors, December 4th, 2012

MASON CITY – The Cerro Gordo County Board of Supervisors met for their regular meeting on Tuesday morning.

At the meeting, the board set new dates for the next two meetings.  Those meetings will be held on Mondays instead of the usual Tuesdays.  The new dates are December 10th and December 17th.  The next two meetings fall on Holidays (Christmas and New Year’s Day) and will also be rescheduled but the dates have not been formally set yet.

The board passed a resolution setting forth the process for selling a county-owned alley in the city of Ventura.  The alley is located between South Main Street and South Weimer Street.  It was said that the county would sell the alley to the city of Ventura for $1 and then the city would decide what to do with it.  It was also said that persons had expressed interest in the ally.

County Engineer Mary Kelly also gave a road report.

What exactly is the reason for changing the meeting days?
The City Councils and other REGULARLY scheduled boards don’t do this.
    Fine group here!

Be nice if they were actually “ACCOUNTABLE” for their actions.
I think the public deserves to know what the “conflict” is!!!!!!!
