Rewards offered for help solving the “crime of the week”

MASON CITY – The Mason City Police Department is investigating a home burglary in the northeast section of Mason City the weekend of November 24th and 25th, 2012.
A large amount of personal property was taken in the burglary including a motor vehicle that was recovered the next day in rural Mason City. Also taken was jewelry, televisions and computers.
Anyone with information regarding this crime or any other crime is asked to call the Crime Stoppers of North Central Iowa at 1-800-383-0088 or the Mason City Police Department at 641-421-3636. All information will be kept confidential and the caller need not give their name. Rewards of up to $1,000 may be paid for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
The homeowner is also offering an additional reward of $2,500 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

I feel for these victims. Here they are trying to recover their possessions, and the local judges are letting criminals off scott-free. It’s right on NIT, that the home invasion crooks are running free!
