MASON CITY – Thursday morning, Mason City Police Officers responded to a call of an apparent intoxicated person at the Mason City Public Library.
It was said that the person did not want to leave, had hid, and the police were having a difficult time trying to find him.
It was said that police thought he might be hiding in a restroom.
Library Director Mary Markwalter said Thursday that “it was a disruptive visitor. He left before the police arrived.”
That fat cop sure isn’t going to catch a drunk. A block away from the police station and they couldn’t catch him. Must have been a fast moving drunk.
Was it Bookmeyer? The bars closed to early for him?
Well at least the man started his day with a drink
