The venue features wooden walls, a shiplap bar, and other rustic elements that transport guests to the charm of an old-time saloon with a pop of color. The atmosphere will be enhanced with music videos displayed on monitors throughout the space and line dancing on boot-scootin’ Sundays. Giddy Up will offer a diverse beverage menu, featuring themed cocktails, high-end whiskeys, and beer boots with the usual run-of-the-mill beer selection.

Owner Josh Immerfall expressed his excitement, saying, “Giddy Up is our ode to country living, and we can’t wait to bring this unique concept to downtown Iowa City.”

General Manager Nick Carrol, a veteran with 19 years at Brother’s Sports Bar and Grill and ownership of Pat & Frans and Hatchet Jacks, joins owner Josh Immerfall in leading Giddy Up. Reflecting on their journey, Nick stated, “Josh and I have always believed in bringing unique themed concepts to downtown Iowa City. Giddy Up has been a topic of discussion for two years, and we seized the opportunity when the right space became available.”
