Kenneth Dale Warrington, 62, of St. Ansgar, Iowa, died Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from injuries sustained from an automobile accident.
A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar with Rev. Mark Squier officiating. A visitation will take place from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, St. Ansgar.
Ken was born on January 23, 1963, in Osage, Iowa. The son of Larry and Lillian (Stromley) Warrington. He graduated from St. Ansgar High School in May of 1981. He then attended Hawkeye Tech graduating in 1983. Ken started working for Jon Walters Homes after graduation. He was a handy man working odd jobs. He was a caregiver for his aging mother.
Ken was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Ansgar. He helped coach Little Saints Wrestling for many years. Ken enjoyed watching the Iowa Hawkeyes football and doing woodworking in his garage.
Ken was preceded in death by his father, Larry; maternal grandparents, Carl and Netty Stromley; and paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Virginia Warrington.
He is survived by his mother, Lillian of St. Ansgar; sister, Karen (Mark) Leach of Charles City and their son, Marcus (Heather) Leach and their children, Carter and Olivia of Nashua; sister, Joann Hemann of St. Ansgar her children, Amanda Heath and daughter, Layla of Wisconsin; daughter, Victoria Hemann of Toledo and her children, Raelyn, Kayson, and Presley; son, Zachary (Nicole) Hemann of Osage and their children, William and Hazel; brother, Steve (Pam) Warrington and their son, Tanner (Ashley) Warrington and their children, Neil and Lane; and many cousins and friends.
