ALBERT LEA – A man and a woman from Mason City were both injured after a semi crashed into their car on a busy Albert Lea, Minnesota road Friday Afternoon.
The Albert Lea Tribune reported that Robert Nelson, age 84, and his wife, Dorthy Nelson, age 86, were traveling on Main street when Robert Nelson, who was driving, turned into the path of a semi truck, striking the passenger side of the vehicle.
Robert Nelson was injured and taken by ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea.  Dorthy Nelson was injured and flown by helicopter to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.  Their conditions were not known.
The driver of the semi was not injured.
